For my eighth Art Nouveau painting… I worked a bit larger.I went from the 11x15 inch Strathmore paper to a 12x18 Canson paper.I have to say, the paper didn’t hold the color as well. It felt like I was fighting it a bit more. I don’t know.I think I’d like to try that expensive Arches paper I always see (but pass on because it’s too much).Either way. I’m happy with the painting. I’ve never painted roses before. So it was fun to learn. Hope you enjoy it!The photo reference/inspiration was from http://lockstock.deviantart.com/art/Mucha-Pack-1-32282767The original is for sale in my Etsy store:http://www.etsy.com/shop/ScottChristianSava?section_id=11821287And prints are available here…http://www.etsy.com/shop/ScottChristianSava?section_id=11821297
